Yesterday I went to my good friend Heather to have her help me with some highlights. I had bought one of these
I just wanted some lighter highlights. Heather did a wonderful job. We just didn't realize how MUCH lighter the hair was going to go.
This picture was taken in October. It's the closest "before" picture that I have. And these are the after pictures. I'm not quite sure of the color.
But I can deal with it.
Why can't I go through life with a soft light filter around me? It makes my skin look awesome!
These were taken later on in the evening after Ty and I got home from his company party.
So there you have it. I am now blond. Very, very blond. Heather told me that she could put in some low lights for me so it's not as blond. I do believe that is the plan.

I really, really like it! It is always fun for me to have a change like going blonde. What does your hubby think?
You look GREAT as a blonde!! I tried it once and looked HORRIBLE!! I agree with Brooke--what does your hubby think?
My husband isn't too sure about it. He was shocked when he came home from work last night. I don't think that he's too fond of it.
Thanks for the compliments!
Wow, I think it looks great!
Wow-I really like it and think that it turned out great!
Just remember, blondes do have more fun! Just teasin'! ;)
You are so beautiful! I was a bottle blonde in college. Wow, am I mortified looking at those pictures. It was more like orange.
Your look Gorgeous! The color looks great!
You ought to try it out for a couple of weeks as is. You may get used to it and love it. I've always been blonde (like my kids!) and in September I finally decided to try going dark. It was a big shock to even see myself in the mirror for a while. But now I jsut love it!
You look good. And I'm sure you'll look good in whatever you decide to do, color-wise. How could someone with your eyes not?
I think that blonde totally works for you. Your husband will get used to it.
You look good with dark hair and blonde hair. Wow!
Quite a change! But the more I look at it the better I think it looks. Those last two photos are gorgeous, S. :)
oh my goodness! you look HOT! momma!!!
seriously, total change, but your eyes really pop out! blonde blue eyed HOTTIE!
I love it!!!
I like the hair color. Didnt you used to have blond hair waaayyy back in young womens?
Shanna, if I perhaps wanted to by one of your mosaics, how would I go about doing that?
Yes I did have blond hair once before. It was way back when.
And Kristina. They could email me and let me know. If it's for Christmas I would only feel comfortable doing a local sale because I'm afraid that it wouldn't get to them in time if I mailed it. I would be willing to meet the person somewhere and drop it off to them. Even take it to their house if they feel comfortable enough doing that. Just shoot me off an email and ask away!
Whoa, what you miss in a day! That IS blonde, you can carry it though! I like the idea of low lights though, they could look crazy cool, against that blonde!!
The blonde looks great! I wish I could do blonde (I'm working up to it with highlights, just a little slower than you :-) )
You are a great blond! I am so afraid to do anythign to my hair colorwise, because it's naturally almost black, and I just don't know if I could go lighter, LOL!
I really like your hair! When I went to get my hair done, I just expected a little change. I've been a brunette... most of my life. (I had a few moments of lapsed judgment. Purple hair is never a good idea.) Now everyone calls me "the blonde one". I'm not blonde! Oh well.
I still think your hair is really nice. And I do the same thing with the soft filter. I just can't help it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
It looks great!! My hubby has been trying to get me to go blonde forever...I just don't have the guts! Love it!
I love it! I seriously think it looks great! I wish I had the guts to go blonde. I've never done it. I keep getting darker and darker.
