When you take a shower or a bath,
when you get done drying off,
do you you hang the towel up to use again the next time
or
is the use of towel a one time deal at your house?
And if you do re-use the towel how many times do you re-use it?
My kids think that towels are a one time use.
I'm trying to disabuse them of this idea.
As for me I re-use it until it starts smelling funky.
Don't judge.
I hate laundry.

I get two uses out of towels, occasionally three. I'm not a fan of laundry myself, and I figure I'm clean coming out of the shower anyway.
We reuse. Probably 3-4 times, actually.
Reuse. 3-4 times. Because I want to be Kristina when I grow up.
We re-use at my house. I too, HATE laundry. Towels are the worst too, because they make for such heavy loads that I end up two more than 1 load to get them all clean and dry.
We re-use. I go with the "use it until it smells funky or laundry day hits" rule. Works for me.
I'm glad everyone is sharing the love of re-using towels. I was afraid I was going to be shamed. As long as they dry properly in between, no reason to start fresh the next day.
I totally reuse. I have enough laundry as it is! I just haven't been able to teach the older two children to hang up their towels after their showers...they always go in the hamper. (Which, I suppose, is better than the floor.)
I'm a fan of conserving water and not washing towels more than they have to be washed. We are definite towels re-users in our house. I even re-use when I'm staying at a hotel. Hopefully I'm clean when I get out of the shower, so the towel stays clean. I wash them frequently, but still try to conserve on water usage. Great question :)
We re-use, probably 5 to 6 times
we are re-users. about 3-4 times. as long as they are hung to dry right you can use them again. i have had to break my husband into this habit though, he was a one timer and now i've changed him into a re-user!
We re-use until they start smelling funky. But that's probably only like 2-3 days. My husband thinks I'm weird, but I think the water smells weird here, so when my towel starts to stink, away it goes. I was thinking just the other day though, how nice it would be to have housekeeping come in and give me a nice fresh towel every day.
Growing up - I was a one time user. Then, I had to start doing my own laundry. We re-use a couple of days and then wash.
I spent years trying to drill re-use into my childrens heads, but recently I have come to change my mind. Single use for my family now, even though I loathe laundry. Maybe if I could keep track of which end I wiped on which end...
