Can you say YUM!!!!
The sugar caramelizes on the outside and the mallow melts on the inside. It's all crispy crunchy on the outside and soft and melty on the inside. BUT you have to do this over very LOW coals and you can't have it over them very long. Peeps roast MUCH faster than regular mallows. I'll so be buying Peeps in the stores so I can roast them from here on out.
Oh and I tried to convince Jillian that they tasted yucky and she didn't want to try them but she didn't believe me. She loved them. What can I say? The girl has good taste.

Maybe by eating them that way, I will want to eat them.
I put Peeps in my kids baskets this year for the first time. None of them liked them. Not a single one. I don't understand why either. They'll eat regular marshmallows like they're going out of style, but cover them in sugar and they won't touch them.
Everything is better when set on fire.
Mmmmm.....crunchy, gooey yumminess. You can't beat it.
I am sitting here with my mouth watering all over my keyboard!! YUM!! I am going to have to try this!!
This may be the only way I ever eat peeps. Sounds good.
I still dont' get it. I'm glad you love them and all, but really....
peeps are sick and wrong on so. many.levels.
Absolutely, positively PURE GENIUS! Just the way I love my marshmallows.....Crispy on the outside and melted in the middle!

I wonder if Peeps come in Quail shapes...
I don't like Peeps, but I was actually wondering if this would be a good thing to do with the ones I have. Good to know it works!
i'd like to see more pictures of that party, if you have 'em.
