Resolutions

Something that I've never been very good at...resolutions.

This year my biggest resolution is to be happier. The next is to be better. Better at what? Everything. A better wife, a better mother, better daughter, better sister, better friend.

How do I go about doing this? I have some half formed ideas in my head. Hopefully they will flesh out as the the year progresses.

I haven't had much time to sit down at the computer to blog much less to read all of the wonderful blogs that I love. So I guess I need to put be a better blogger and better reader/commenter on my list of things to do better this year.

Will I actually be better? Be happier? It's up to me. And I guess time will tell.

Speaking of time. My time here is up. My house and laundry are calling (more like YELLING) at me to take care of them.

What GREAT resolutions!! I need to be a better wife/mother too. It is something I am going to work REALLY hard on this year and the years to come!!

I really need to do better, too. I think I need to really work on some of those as well. Good luck!

I'm not good at resolutions either. And my house and laundry are calling too. We're a lot alike!

Ah, the illusive "better." I struggle with the same weaknesses I've had my entire teen-age and sdult-hood. I don't make many resolutions, either. Because they'd always be the same, and they'd always NOT stick!

May you have better luck than I.

I wrote a resolutions post too! Mine are, uh, slightly different.

I love making resolutions, although they rarely turn out the way I want. Your post reminds me of how Pres. Hinckley tells us to "Stand a little taller, and be a little better." I think the little in there is important. Improvement is improvement, and we need to recognize that, and even though I often fail at most resolutions, something always improves just a little. :)

Good luck with yours!

My laundry has a way of yelling at me too. I would throw it on the floor and stamp on it if it didn't mean I'd have to wash it all again.

Et j'adore la langue francaise aussi!

Good resolutions....I am a reader, so it always helps me to read books that give me a new perspective on something I am trying to tackle. I wish you the best this year. I love resolutions- is it ever bad to set good goals for yourself???
