All's quiet on this front

Which is a good thing. I haven't had much time to blog. I've been hanging out with my mom and helping out over there. It's been nice to spend time with her.
I did want to check in here.

Randomness ahead....
  • I'm tired. So tired. I do okay while I'm over at mom's but when I come home I crash.
  • The kids have Friday off of school.
  • I just bought tickets for the kids and I to go and see Alice in Wonderland on Friday afternoon.
  • I'm slightly excited about that.
  • My kids are WAY more excited about it than me.
  • I'm going to be single mommin' it for the next couple of weeks. Should be interesting.
  • I'm making plans to hike the Narrows with my friend this summer.
  • I'm VERY excited about that.
  • I can't wait until March 28th. My good friend, Heather is coming up to Utah for a visit. I haven't seen her forever.
  • I can't wait for Spring...it's almost here. The tulips and crocuses are peeking their heads up.
  • I'm in charge of a talent show for our ward. It should be fun...I hope.
  • I'm considering doing eyebrow dancing for my talent. It's a serious skill that I've honed.
  • I'm slightly nervous about Tyran leaving. I'm trying not to be but I'm finding it difficult, especially when I'm really tired.
  • I miss my sister.
  • I need to go and put my kids to bed...and then myself.
Thanks for sticking with me.

I'm kind of scared of Alice in Wonderland.

I'm with Julie. Tim Burton + Helena Bonham Carter = Creepier than Mario Lopez.

You're gonna be great on your own. Unfortunately, I don't think the sleep situation will be getting better any time soon. Mom Forecast: sleepy with a chance of grouchy.

Good luck with the single parenting thing. It's always hard, particularly when you're tired. And the talent show....lucky. I'm seriously trying to recruit you to desolate West Texas just so we can have fun ward activities. Thanks for the update. I've missed you.

I've been single mom-ing it from Monday-Friday for quite some time. But my hub called last night and said there was a problem so it's just me and the three hoodlums for the next 10 days... where's the duct tape? (Good luck!)

You sound plum wore out. I hope you got some good sleep! It sounds like you're pretty overwhelmed right now and with all you've got going on, I'm not surprised. Hang in there!

No news is good news. I'm glad nothing HUGE has happened to you this week!

I was in charge of our ward talent show too and it turned out to be one of the best activities of the year. Do you have a good MC? They can totally make a big difference in the show.

You'll have to let us know about Alice in Wonderland. It looks jut plain freaky to me.

And honey, you SHOULD be tired. You have been through the wringer a couple of times this past little while. Cut yourself some slack and lay in bed and rest.

I'm really excited to see Alice too!

And I have to tell you I love how you always change your layout for the holidays. I love St. Patrick's Day!

I like random Shauna. I have NO desire to see Alice in Wonderland. It just looks like a bad acid trip gone wrong...

I kinda wish Tavis would go out of town for a few...days. I know it's bad to say but my life really was a lot calmer when I was a single mom. Happier? No. But definitely calmer.

My kids told me there were floating heads in a river of blood in Alice. Ew.

Let me know when we're going to lunch!
