A good book always helps me relax.
Although the fact that I have at least ten or so
that I need to read before I have to get them
back to the library stresses me out a bit.
Is this counterproductive??

Snap with the books!!
I totally understand. I love watching shows where people are being tortured and blown up, to help me relax.
I am with you on this one. When I am stressed, nothing sounds better to me than curling up in bed with a book.
I loved The Book Thief. I haven't heard of the other books in your stack. I'll have to check them out.
Ohhh! I wish I had time for that relaxation right now. I am with you- nothing better than a good book. I tend to be a compulsive reader though so when I start one, unless it's BAD, I'll keep reading for hours on end until it's done.
Reading books is one of my favorite ways to unwind, too... and yes, I also get stressed out when I'm late returning a library book! :)
My wife is the same way, only she has 10 more to get at the library that she will never read. It's a never ending cycle.
I love to read books, but don't do it as often as I should…audio books often become my 'literacy hit' for the time being. Now, if only all of the readers were as talented as Jim Dale!
I haven't read The Dark Diving yet...not sure if I want to. Did you like it?
I need a good book. I keep hearing about The Book Thief.
I love to read. I keep sitting here in front of my computer, thinking I should get off and go read instead, yet here I still sit.
Looove reading, too. Been missing it for the past little bit since I've been keeping too busy in blogger-land. BUT! I started reading again a couple of days ago, finished that book today and have 2 more in the same series to look forward to this weekend! Ah...wonderful...:D
There is nothing like reading a good book that you just can't put down! A great way to relax for sure.
Best wishes for a relaxing weekend,
Natasha.
