Just Read...

I just finished up reading the first book in The Mortal Instruments Series

The City of Bones
by Cassandra Clare
If you are into the "supernatural" and demons and stuff it's an okay read. It was a bit confusing because what was supposed to be this huge revelation at the end of the book...well... wasn't. At least not to me. I thought that this was something that had already been determined so I was slightly confused but I didn't want to go back through the book to find out if they had actually revealed this earlier. Even if they didn't the "secret" was pretty obvious to figure out.

Still a quick entertaining read. I've put the second one The City of Ashes on my que at the library.

Up next? It's sitting on my kitchen counter as I type.
(click on the picture if you want to know what it's about) But I probably won't get a chance to start that until sometime next week.

Oh and P.S. I have been trying to read and comment on blogs but my computer has been taken over by an some stupid "Problem Loading Error" page. So when I click over from my Google reader I get that message and if by some miracle your blog does come up then I usually get that message when I click to comment. So know that I am reading and very frustrated because I can't comment they way that I would like. *sigh*

I just picked up "The Time Travelers Wife" today. I know I'm a little behind on the times since I'm just getting around to reading it. It's been out for a while, but I kept hearing good things about it and decided to finally give it a whirl.

I haven't heard of either of those books.

Sorry about the blog problems. What a pain!

I loved the Mortal Instruments books but they are REALLY OBVIOUS what's going on. The reader knows what's going on but somehow all the characters can't figure it out.

But there's just something about them that I love. Pathetically, but I dig 'em!

Problem Loading Error? What a pain. I hope it's not a computer problem!

Creepy books scare me. But the Hope in a Jar sounds kind of fun!

I want to read that book but it's on a 14 year waiting (I am TOTALLY exaggerating) list at my library. One day. I am actually going to read Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. I won it from a fellow blogger and because she is SO SUPER AWESOME she also sent me Airhead by Meg Cabot so I will read that one after. Hopefully by then I can check out City of Bones!!

Sorry about the computer/Internet error!! Hope it gets fixed soon--I miss your cute face!!

Sounds interesting. If I could only get through the stack of books on my bedside table . . .

I tried to read City of Bones and I just couldn't do it.

I think that first one might be a "must miss" for me. Anything with demons freaks me out!!! But let me know abou it the other one once you start it.
