What does one do on December 13th in Utah??

Well if you were like me you went out to the shed and opened it up...

Pulled out the good ol' Yardman mower....
Fired it up and....

MOWED THE LAWN

This is DECEMBER 13!!!!
In UTAH !!!
Check that date stamp on the pictures if you are a non-believer.
On the docket for tomorrow?
Hanging the outside Christmas lights.

Because it's supposed to snow on Wednesday.
And thanks to me those lovely little flakes
will have a pristine lawn to land and pile up on.

And I hope they pile high.

Because I would really like a white Christmas.

And I don't want to pull that mower out again
until sometime in April....
possibly May.

On a side note...
I found these on my back lawn.
We haven't had a dog for a while now.
Should I call CSI??

I am loving it. Because come January 15th when there is an inversion and its 20 below, we will be wanting to mow our lawns.

I am definitely ready for some snow. And not the wussy kind that doesn't stick to the ground and leaves slush---but good, piled up high snow!

We had our son mow our lawn on Saturday. He was so embarrassed because it was December! The lawn looks great though. :)

This is right up there with the picture of a totally snow-covered backyard--in MAY.

So wrong.

Hahaha, it's SOOOOOOOOO crazy!!! We have only had a few flakes this whole season, nothing sticking! Do I really live in Utah!? Love that you're mowing the lawn, hahahaha!

My Husband did the same thing on Saturday. Only because all the snow from the last storm finally melted and he didn't want to rake. So he mowed instead. But he didn't get as much as if he had raked. But I'm not complaining. It wasn't me out there!

Lets both hope for a white Christmas!

Isn't that just like Utah? You just never know what you will get. It might be 80 degrees in December, it might snow in July. I'm hoping for snow too, but not too much. I don't really want to drive in it, jut have it dressing the lawns for my big arrival!

If you want snow and a white Christmas, get your chicka boon boon buns up to my place. We have plenty.
and cold to go with it.
I'd rather pull out a lawn mower anyday.
Funny how we always want what we don't have eh.
